Red Bird River Description

The Red Bird River is a tributary of the Kentucky River, located in the Daniel Boone National Forest in extreme Southeastern Kentucky. It's named after Chief Red Bird, a Cherokee who was murdered along its banks in the late 1700s by two men from Tennessee.
