Decided to go on a little adventure Sunday. I mapped out this place in Norfolk called Stop River. It sits between both the Walpole prison (Aaron Hernandez's new resort) and the Norfolk Correctional Facility. Only problem is you cant access any roads to get to it cause they are State Property with "No Trespassing" posted all over the place. Only way in is to park on the side of Main St and yak in via a small inlet, but I didn't have the courage to do that. If anyone knows of an easier way in, please let me know cause this place looks like an untouched goldmine! Decided to settle on Mann Pond. Ended up plugging away for 5 hours with the same white jig with a white twin tail grub trailer. Produced a few 2 pound LM Bass hitting up the stalks and small patches of grass on the shoreline. All in all a fun day!

Went to Buckmaster pond in Westwood Thursday, 5/14. Had my yak on the roof of my car and jetted straight from work. May have left a few minutes early when nobody was looking!). Started off on the far side, across from the main parking lot off Pond St with a pumpkin/black Sanko wacky rigged. Nothing was biting. Saw a lot of ripples on the top, so switched to a top water plug. Snagged a decent sized Crappie and a pathetic excuse for a LM Bass. It started to get pretty dark so I decided to head back across the pond to the lot. For the heck of it, threw on a Storm Shad Minnow and trolled along the shore, maybe 30-40 yards out all the way back. Got a big hit but could not set the hook fast enough. Last 50-60 yards from shore my rod tip started to pulsate like crazy. Set the hook and had a nice battle with a 16-17inch, 2lb Rainbow Trout. Nice end to a short trip!
